I was shopping in the mall the other day for a new credit card wallet when I totally flashed back to this girl I use to date. She was really intriguing and the whole time we dated she never told me what she did for a living. We would go out at the most random times and after a few months she just dropped off the face of the earth. Later that year I found out that she was a professional pickpocket.

I had learned about this while reading the paper. The local police said that when they arrested her she had over 1,000 wallets hidden in her basement. She had apparently kept them as souvenirs, which wound up being quite a costly mistake. The article went on to say that she had been doing this for several years and was starting to get really great at it.

But one day while working a fair she had taken one too many men’s wallets. The last one she took of the day belonged to an off duty sheriff, who was all to wise to this kind of thief. He instantly knew what she had done and he followed her to her house. After obtaining a warrant they arrested her and sent her to jail.
